Attack’s Bruce McDonald commits to Robert Morris University
Owen Sound Attack overage forward Bruce McDonald has announced his commitment to Robert Morris University for the 2025-26 NCAA hockey season.
McDonald, a native of Ottawa, ON, was originally selected by the Erie Otters in the third round, 41st overall, of the 2022 U18 OHL Priority Selection. He played two seasons with the Otters before being traded to the Attack ahead of the 2024-25 season, where he’s tallied 20 points (6-16-22) in 50 games played with Owen Sound this season. Appearing in 182 regular season OHL contests, the 6-foot, 177lb. centreman has registered 31 goals, 44 assists, and 75 points over three seasons.
Robert Morris University is a private institution located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Their Men’s Hockey team, the Colonials, is an NCAA Division 1 program that competes in the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
