Attack sign fourth-round pick Easton Mikus
The Owen Sound Attack start their week off strong as they sign OHL Priority Selection Fourth Round Pick , 69th overall, Easton Mikus for the 2024-25 season.
Mikus comes to the Attack from Thunder Bay, ON standing at 6’1″ and 187 lbs. As a youth, Mikus played hockey with the Thunder Bay Kings U15 AAA in 2021-22, moving on to the U16 the following year. Mikus would go on to play for the Thunder Bay North Stars; in the 223-24 season having 31 goals, 29 assists in only 47 games played.
Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray, says he feels Mikus will fit in right away after a few exhibition games.
“Easton is a hard-working strong on his feet tenacious forward. He led all rookies last year on his junior team and won rookie of the year. I’m looking forward to seeing Easton in an Attack jersey come September.”
Mikus goes on to say that he feels ‘honoured to be selected’ by the Owen Sound Attack.
“I want to thank my family, friends, teammates and coaches that have helped and supported along the way. I’m very excited to get on the ice and contribute to the team’s success. I am looking forward to playing for the great fans of Owen Sound.”
