1ST STAR: NATE SCHNARR (GUELPH STORM):
The second hat-trick of Nate Schnarr‘s OHL career helped the Guelph Storm get past the visiting Barrie Colts 4-3. Schnarr’s game winner with 6:17 left in the third period capped-off the Friday night trio as the Arizona Coyotes prospect brought his season total to 14 goals. Schnarr had help on the night from Domenico Commisso who chipped in with two of his three assists on Schnarr markers before Isaac Ratcliffe set up the third period tally. The 19-year-old Waterloo, Ont. native leads the Storm in scoring with 27 points (14-13–27) over 18 games. He’ll suit up for Team OHL in Monday’s Game 4 of the CIBC Canada Russia Series in Oshawa.

2ND STAR: RILEY DAMIANI (KITCHENER RANGERS):
Dallas Stars prospect Riley Damiani had two goals and an assist through regulation before adding a shootout goal in Kitchener’s 6-5 win over visiting Sarnia. Damiani scored in the first and second periods before setting up Rickard Hugg for the game-tying goal with nine seconds left in the second frame. He registered seven shots on goal and went 10-for-17 in the faceoff circle. The 18-year-old from Mississauga, Ont. has 19 points (8-11–19) in as many games this season. He was Dallas’ fifth round pick this past summer.

3RD STAR: LUKE CAVALLIN (FLINT FIREBIRDS):
Sophomore netminder Luke Cavallin made 40 saves, backstopping the Flint Firebirds to a stunning victory over the CHL’s eighth-ranked Soo Greyhounds on home ice. Flint’s second straight win saw Cavallin stop 15 of the 16 third period shots he faced as the Greyhounds barraged the Flint goal in a late comeback attempt. The 17-year-0ld native of Greely, Ont. improves to 2-6-1-0 on the season. He was Flint’s second round (28th overall) pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
