Three OHL Graduates Selected for Team USA’s 2026 Olympic Winter Games Roster
The Team USA roster for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina has been revealed, featuring three OHL alumni among the nation’s elite selections. The Americans haven’t won a gold medal in men’s hockey since the 1980 “Miracle On Ice”.
This tournament also marks the first appearance of National Hockey League (NHL) players at the Olympics in twelve years, and it will be the Olympic debut for every member of the U.S. roster.
Three OHL Alumni Named to Team USA
Forwards:
J.T. Miller (New York Rangers/Plymouth Whalers)
Matthew Tkachuk (Florida Panthers/London Knights)
Vincent Trocheck (New York Rangers/Saginaw Spirit/Plymouth Whalers)
Team USA opens its Olympic schedule on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, facing Latvia at 3:10 pm EST.
They continue group play on Saturday, Feb. 14, against Denmark, followed by a matchup with Germany on Sunday, Feb. 15.
If they advance, qualifying games for the knockout stage begin Tuesday, Feb. 17, with quarterfinal action on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The semifinals are set for Friday, Feb. 20, with the bronze‑ and gold‑medal games taking place on Feb. 21 and 22.
