Wolves captain Donovan McCoy delivered the overtime heroics, securing Sudbury’s third straight win in a thrilling contest. LA Kings prospect Matthew Mania opened the scoring for Flint, but Sudbury quickly turned the tide with two goals in 23 seconds. The Wolves held their lead until late in the third, when Blake Smith and Kaden Pitre scored back-to-back for the Firebirds, forcing overtime.
