Colts’ Associate Coach Phillip Barski hired as Head Coach and General Manager of ECHL’s Bloomington Bison

The Bloomington Bison of the ECHL has announced they have hired Phillip Barski to be their inaugural Head Coach and General Manager.

Barski first joined the Colts in the 2022-23 as an Assistant Coach but took on the role of Associate Coach this past season, leading the Colts to a 28-36-4-0 regular season record.

“The entire Colts organization would like to thank Phillip and his wife Diana for their time and dedication spent in our organization. We would like to wish them all the best with their move to Bloomington and wish them all the success”, said Colts Head Coach & General Manager, Marty Williamson.

The Barrie Colts along with the entire Ontario Hockey League congratulate Phillip on his new position.
