MAZDA OHL Plays of the Week
The MAZDA OHL Plays of the Week for the week ending January 9, 2011, feature rookie forward Alex Galchenyuk of the Sarnia Sting.
Galchenyuk scored a breakaway goal last Friday night for his 13th of the season in a 9-4 win over the Windsor Spitfires.
The 2010 first overall pick is fourth overall in rookie scoring with 44 points in 40 games so far this season. Galchenyuk is eligible for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Also included in the highlights is Joey Hishon of the Owen Sound Attack, Robbie Czarnik of the Plymouth Whalers, Colin Behenna of the Barrie Colts, and Freddie Hamilton of the Niagara IceDogs.
