67’s Falkovsky invited to Belarus National Junior Team Selection Camp

Ottawa 67’s defenceman Stepan Falkovsky is attending the Belarus National Junior Team Selection Camp as he sets his sights on competing in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in Helsinki, Finland beginning December 26th.
A 19 year-old in his first OHL season, the 6’7″, 224Ib. Falkovsky has seven goals, 10 assists and 17 points in 32 games this season along with a plus/minus rating of plus-10.
Falkovsky was Ottawa’s first round, 42nd overall selection in the 2015 CHL Import Draft.
The native of Minsk, Belarus has represented his country on the international stage twice before, including participation in both Under-18 and Under-20 formats. He is one of three returning players from last season’s championship team that won the Division I Group A title to earn promotion to the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championship.
