Colts Comin’up Friday!

The BIG BAD BARRIE COLTS will make their first visit to the Sudbury Arena this Friday night at 7:30.

Barrie is pegged to be the top team in the Eastern Conference by the Hockey News and they are led in scoring by 20 year old ZACH HALL, 20 year old MITCHELL THEORET and 19 year old ANDREAS ANTHANASIOU. ANTHANASIOU is a draft selection of the Detroit Red Wings and the speedy winger can dazzle would-be defenders with his speed, size and hands around the net.

Barrie’s line-up also includes the #1 rated player for the NHL Draft – special status defenceman: AARON EKBLAD. The big skilled rearguard served as captain of Canada’s U18 team when they won gold in the World U18 Championships in August. EKBLAD has a very hard and accurate point shot and the Colts will be looking for power play opportunities so Ekblad can unload his bullet from the point.
