Wolves Seek to Defend the Den
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The 2025 OHL Playoffs are heating up, and the Sudbury Wolves are looking to protect their home turf against the Kingston Frontenacs. Game 3 takes place tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m., with Game 4 following on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.
The Wolves return to the Den down 2-0 in the series after two hard-fought battles at Slush Puppie Place. Game 1 saw Kingston jump to an early 2-0 lead, with Sudbury keeping the game within reach until Cedrick Guindon sealed a 4-1 victory with an empty-net goal. In Game 2, the Wolves found themselves trailing 3-1 entering the third period. Two clutch goals from Nathan Villeneuve pushed the game to overtime, where Gage Heyes scored the double-overtime winner. Sudbury now aims to even the series with two big wins on home ice.
The return of Quentin Musty for Game 2 was a key moment in the series. The San Jose Sharks prospect, who had been sidelined for five games, picked up an assist on Villeneuve’s game-tying goal. Sudbury goaltender Nate Krawchuk has been stellar, stopping 81 of 88 shots over the first two games. Winnipeg Jets prospect Kieron Walton has been another standout, with a point in both games—an assist in Game 1 and a one-goal, two-assist performance in Game 2.
Game 3 on Tuesday is proudly sponsored by Harley-Davidson. Fans will have the chance to win incredible prizes, including a 2025 Sportster S motorcycle. Be sure to visit the Harley-Davidson booth in the lower concourse for more information on how to enter the contest.
