Wolves Return to Action this Week
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Pack is BACK and ready to run this week as they are set to return to the ice for four games in seven days. The Sudbury Wolves will kick things off tonight with a visit the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 7:07pm before returning to the confines of the Sudbury Arena on Friday December 31st to take on the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:05pm. Sunday, the Wolves will wrap up the weekend as they host the Soo Greyhounds at 2:05pm. However, the Wolves will face the Greyhounds once again on Tuesday January 4th in a rescheduled make-up game from December at 7:05pm.
The Wolves will see game action for the first time in a month and are eager to hit the ice. Captain Jack Thompson continues to lead the Wolves upfront with 19 points in 22 games this season.
The Wolves will have their work cut out for them this week as the Soo Greyhounds lead the West Division with 32 points in 26 games, while the Mississauga Steelheads are tied for the top of the Central Division with the North Bay Battalion for 36 points, but have three games in hand over the Battalion.

Tickets are on sale now for both Friday, Sunday and Tuesday’s home games at greatersudbury.ca/tickets and at the Sudbury Arena Box Office. Those attending the box office in person, must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. The Sudbury Arena Box Office will be open Wednesday and Thursday this week from Noon – 4pm and Friday from 9am until the end of the second intermission. Get your tickets early to avoid the lines! Under the current Public Health regulations, spectator capacity is limited to 50%. Fans are encouraged to come to the arena early as COVID-19 safety precautions are in place that may take some extra time. The doors will open at 5:50pm. Masks MUST remain on at all times within the Sudbury Arena. No food and beverage will be available due to the current Public Health regulations. The health and safety of all our fans, players, staff and volunteers is of utmost importance.
A vaccination policy is in effect. Fans 12+ will be required to show their vaccine receipt from their second dose, along with photo ID upon entrance with their ticket. Fans must be fully vaccinated for a minimum of 14 days. Unvaccinated youth 11 and under must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult in order to gain entry. As of January 4th, fans 12+ must show the enhanced vaccine passport in order to gain access.
