Wolves Complete Trade with Sting Acquiring Local Goaltender Karsen Chartier
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves announce that they have acquired goaltender, Karsen Chartier from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for Andrew Gaulton.
“We wish Andrew all the best moving forward and welcome Karsen and his family to the Wolves organization,” said Sudbury Wolves VP & General Manager Rob Papineau. “Karsen is a local goalie who we feel will continue to develop under the guidance of Mike Lawrence and Matty Mayhew.”
Karsen Chartier, a Sudbury, ON local was selected 91st overall by the Sarnia Sting during the 2022 OHL priority selection. He is a 2006 born player with two years of eligibility remaining after this season. Chartier has a big presence in net as a 6-foot-3, 181 lbs, left-catching goaltender. He has played 24 games with the Sting and currently plays with the Greater Sudbury Cubs.

This weekend the Wolves take on central division rivals the Niagara IceDogs, Friday at 7:05pm and host the Kingston Frontenacs Sunday at 2:05pm.
