Wolves Complete Trade with Kingston Frontenacs
The Sudbury Wolves have completed a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs. The Sudbury Wolves receive Barrie’s 2025 4th round pick in addition to both Kingston’s 2027 2nd and 6th round picks in exchange for Slovakian defenceman, Jakub Chromiak.
“We would like to thank Jakub for all his time in Sudbury,” said Wolves VP and General Manager Rob Papineau. “He was definitely not a player we intended to move but the Import rules only allow us to have two Import Players on our roster. We are happy that he will be able to get back to playing and we wish him nothing but success. He is a high-quality person and player. He and his family are very familiar with Kingston from his brother’s time there.”
Jakub played 68 games for the Wolves over two seasons recording 20 points, 4G-16A, a +4 and 12 penalty minutes. The Sudbury Wolves would like to wish him the best of luck in his future hockey career.
The Sudbury Wolves are set for a doubleheader week starting tonight at 7:05pm as they face division rival North Bay Battalion. Tickets are on-sale now at greatersudbury.ca/tickets and at the Sudbury Arena Box Office.
