Wolves Close Out Five Game Homestand with a Doubleheader Week
(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are set to finish their homestand this week, starting with the Soo Greyhounds on Wednesday, followed by the Windsor Spitfires on Friday. Both Games are set for a 7:05pm puck-drop.
Quentin Musty picked up 7 points (3G-4A) through 3 games last week, including a 5-point performance in Friday’s game against the Sting, scoring his second hat-trick of the season. Nathan Villeneuve continues to raise his draft stock by notching 6 points (2G-4A) last week. Kocha Delic also had himself a week, recording 4 points (3G-1A), including getting his 150th OHL point against Barrie on Wednesday.
The Soo Greyhounds enter Wednesday’s game 2nd in the West Division and 3rd in the Western conference. The Greyhounds have continued to have a dominate season in the Western Conference. The Greyhounds are led by Jack Beck with 76 points (22G-54A) and Gavin Hayes with 66 points (35G-31A). The Greyhounds are backed by goaltender Charlie Schenkel, who is top five in the league for both Goals Against Average and Wins.
Wednesday’s Game is sponsored by Ontario Nurses Association, who will be on hand with great prizes and giveaways for lucky fans. Fans are encouraged to visit their table in the lower concourse by the merch shop for more information.
The Windsor Spitfires enter Friday’s game 5th in the West Division and 10th in the Western Conference. The Spitfires are led by Liam Greentree with 80 points (30G-50A) and Ryan Abraham with 55 points (27G-28A). This game also marks the return of former Wolves’ defencemen, Djibril Toure and Conor Walton.

Friday’s game is also Mom’s night where the Sudbury Wolves will be honouring their moms and billet moms in a pre-game ceremony. Friday will also be the first of two-highlight anticipated bobblehead night!
