Wolves Acquire Noah Roberts
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves have acquired 6-foot-1 defenceman, Noah Roberts from the Brantford Bulldogs in exchange two 2nd round selections, one 3rd round and a conditional future OHL draft selection.
“Noah is a veteran defenceman who has strong skating ability and heavy checking strength,” said Sudbury Wolves VP & General Manager Rob Papineau. “He keeps the game in front of him and is a physical defender who opposing players don’t enjoy playing against. He makes a strong first pass and brings leadership and outstanding hockey pedigree. We welcome Noah and the Roberts family to the Sudbury Wolves.”
Noah a 6-foot-1, 195-pounds, left-shot defender from Uxbridge, ON., was drafted by the Bulldogs’ 53rd overall in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection. Noah has played 142 regular season games with the Bulldogs and 11 post season games. This season he has played 37 games notching 12-points including four-goals and eight-assists. Noah is a tough defensive player and ready to engage in the physical game.
Fans will have their first chance to see Noah in action this Friday when the Wolves host the Niagara IceDogs at 7:05pm. Pack the Den, tickets are on-sale now online at the greatersudbury.ca/tickets and in-person at the Sudbury Arena Box Office.
