Wolves Acquire Calgary Flames prospect, Henry Mews
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves have acquired Calgary Flames prospect, defenceman Henry Mews from the Ottawa 67’s in exchange for Wolves defender Nolan Jackson and future OHL draft selections.

Henry Mews a 6-foot-1, 183-pounds, right-shot defender from Ottawa, ON., was drafted by the 67’s 7th overall in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection and was picked in the 3rd round of the 2024 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames. Mews has played 158 regular season games with the 67’s and 21 post season games. He is the top scoring defenceman in the OHL with 50 points including 11-goals and 39-assists through 38 games played. He’s is a tough defensive player with a strong offensive prowess.
