Sudbury Wolves Whiteout Friday
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Wolves are back at the Sudbury Arena this Friday, December 20th at 7:05 p.m., when they face off against the North Bay Battalion in an exciting Central Division matchup.
The Wolves (16-10-4-0) are currently third in the Central Division, just behind the Niagara IceDogs and Barrie Colts. Kieron Walton (WPG) has been a standout player for Sudbury against the Battalion this season, registering 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points in just three games, along with a +1 rating. Walton’s success will be key for the Wolves as they look to get back on track. Kocha Delic also had an impressive showing in the team’s recent win over Niagara, scoring 2 goals. As assistant captain, Delic will look to build on his strong performance and lead the Wolves to victory.
The North Bay Battalion (13-13-3-0) enter Friday’s game sitting last in the Central Division. The Battalion are led by center Ethan Procyszyn (ANA), who ranks 7th in the OHL with 20 goals and 12 assists for 32 points in 29 games. Defenseman Jacob LeBlanc has also been a standout, with 4 goals and 25 assists for 29 points, making him one of the few Battalion players averaging over a point per game. Both Procyszyn and LeBlanc will look to make a significant impact as North Bay tries to pull off an upset.
Friday night’s game will feature the Wolves’ Whiteout Game, where fans are encouraged to wear their brightest gear and support the team in full force.
