Sudbury Wolves Host Their Division Rival the Barrie Colts Friday
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves are back at the Sudbury Arena this Friday, November 29th, at 7:05 p.m., facing off against the Barrie Colts in an exciting matchup.
With a 12-8-3-0 record, the Sudbury Wolves currently sit in third place in the Central Division, trailing the Niagara IceDogs and the Colts. The Wolves are coming off a solid three-game stretch where they went 2-1-0-0, earning victories against the Guelph Storm and IceDogs. The team now looks ahead to tonight’s match up against the Colts in Barrie prior to tomorrow’s game.
Nate Krawchuk has been a standout in goal for the Wolves this season, recording 7 wins with a 2.78 goals-against average (6th in the OHL) and a stellar .914 save percentage (4th in the OHL). Offensively, Kieron Walton (WPG) has been a driving force for Sudbury. In 23 games, Walton has notched 13 goals and 20 assists for an impressive 33 points. His strong 200-foot game is reflected in his +5 rating, the best on the team. Walton’s dynamic offensive contributions and reliable defensive play make him a key player to watch.
