Sudbury Wolves Host Doubleheader Action with Steelheads and IceDogs
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves are back at The DEN this weekend, ready to battle their Central Division rivals. The Wolves will take on the Brampton Steelheads on Friday, December 13th at 7:05 p.m. and the Niagara IceDogs on Sunday, December 15th at 2:05 p.m.
With a strong 15-8-4-0 record, the Wolves currently sit third in the Central Division, just behind the Niagara IceDogs and Barrie Colts. The team has been in excellent form, going 3-0-1-0 in their last four games. This impressive stretch includes three consecutive wins: a commanding 5-3 victory over Barrie, a decisive 5-2 triumph over Erie, and a thrilling 5-4 overtime win against Flint, where team captain Donovan McCoy played the role of overtime hero. Forward Alex Pharand (CHI) has been a standout during this run, tallying 8 points in his last 9 games, and bringing his season total to 26 points (12G, 14A) in 25 appearances.

Fans are encouraged to bring new, packaged undergarments to donate, which will be tossed on the ice after the Wolves score their first goal of the game. For those who wish to donate on-site, new undergarments will be available for sale at the Undie Table located in the upper concourse next to Guest Services.

Additionally, Sunday marks our second Jr. Wolves Sunday, where fans can join the team for a post-game skate. After the game, Dressing Room 1 will be open for fans to lace up their skates and take to the ice, with the team benches also available once the Zamboni has finished. All participants must wear skates to join in the fun!
