Finn Kearns Commits to the Wolves
The Sudbury Wolves are delighted to announce that defenceman Finn Kearns, a 2024 8th round OHL Priority selection, has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development agreement with the club.
“We are thrilled to have Finn commit to the Sudbury Wolves”, said Rob Papineau, Vice President and General Manager of the Sudbury Wolves. “He had a great season with St. Andrew’s College this year. He is a big physical defender who has a very heavy shot. He has man strength at just 16 and will be a force to play against in the OHL. Wolves fans will love his honest hard nosed work ethic”.
Finn Kearns is a 6-foot-3, 203 lbs, 16-year-old left-handed defenceman from Aurora, Ontario. Finn joins the Wolves after a season with St. Andrew’s College, compiling 55 games with 8 goals, 20 assists, and 105 penalty minutes. Drafted from the York Simcoe Express, he brings a rare physical style of play for someone of his age to the Wolves.
