Brayden Bennett Commits to the Wolves
The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that Brayden Bennett, the club’s 2025 1st round OHL Priority selection, has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development agreement with the team.
“We are very happy to have Brayden commit to the Sudbury Wolves,” said Rob Papineau, Vice President and General Manager of the Sudbury Wolves. “He is a player our staff really coveted all year and a player who has the skill and compete level that our coaches and fans will really appreciate. He comes from a fantastic family, and we welcome Brayden and his family to the team.”
Brayden Bennett is a 6-foot, 188 lbs, 16-year-old left-handed centre from Ottawa, Ontario. Brayden was drafted 11th overall after a season with the Toronto Titans U16 AAA, where he recorded 21 points (10 goals and 11 assists) in 24 regular season games. Brayden will bring elite speed and a relentless intensity to a Wolves lineup that identifies as hardworking and energetic.
“I’m honoured and humbled to join such a prestigious historical organization, and I just can’t wait to get started,” expressed Bennett. “I’m a skilled power forward who likes to use his speed. I have that tenacity in my game and like to play with a chip on my shoulder.”
