His brother Kieran, was a Sarnia Sting pick who played junior B last season. His cousin is NHLer Callum Ritchie.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s been a crazy day. I&#8217;m really nervous, but I&#8217;m happy,&#8221; McNally said in a phone interview shortly after being selected.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve got my whole family here, my grandparents, my billets. Everybody.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A native of LaSalle, he played with the Don Mills Flyers this past season.<\/p>\n<p>The season prior, playing bantam with the Sun County Panthers, he was called up to the U16 team, where he played eight games with current Storm forward Jakko Wycisk. OHL member teams have contributed more than $42 million to the OHL Scholarship Program since 2010.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">OHL graduates continued to compete at the game&#8217;s highest levels this past season, with 148 skating in U SPORTS men&#8217;s hockey and 78 opening the campaign on NCAA Division I rosters. An additional 18 accessed their OHL Scholarship while playing professionally.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Centrally administered through the OHL Office, OHL Scholarships are funded by OHL member teams. Every player who plays in the OHL is eligible to receive an OHL Scholarship. The OHL graduate can use their scholarship toward an undergraduate degree or diploma at any post-secondary institution worldwide or toward approved career-advancement programs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">In addition to alumni accessing their OHL Scholarship following graduation from the League, all current OHL players are encouraged to enrol in post-secondary courses with costs fully covered by OHL member teams. Team investment in scholarships accessed by current OHL players was more than $530,000 during the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">&#8220;The OHL Scholarship Program has long been a hallmark of what the league is all about,&#8221; said OHL Commissioner Bryan Crawford. &#8220;Players have the opportunity to grow their game in the number one development league in the world, but that&#8217;s really just the beginning. The education of our players is something that the league and its teams take great pride in as we continue to send players to both the National Hockey League, U SPORTS men&#8217;s hockey programs and new this past season, the NCAA men&#8217;s hockey circuit. On the morning of Saturday, June 13th the draft will continue with two four through fifteen.<\/p>\n<p>The annual Priority Selection welcomes 300 new players to the OHL as member clubs draft prospects from across Ontario and select US States to join their organization.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with Tourism Kingston, the 2026 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore will take place June 12\u201313, 2026, at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, home of the Kingston Frontenacs. Fans and media from across the League are invited to take in one of the most anticipated events on the OHL calendar as teams lay the groundwork for future success, welcoming the most talented prospects from across Canada and parts of the United States to their organizations.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the festivities in Kingston, the Storm are hosting a Draft Party on Friday, June 12th from 6:30pm-10:00pm at Montana\u2019s BBQ &amp; Bar in Guelph.
