The 2026 NHL Entry Draft has ended, and teams are looking to the future with development camps kicking off this week. The Storm has eleven players who will represent the organization at various NHL camps.<\/p>\n
Ryan Roobroeck \u2013 Chicago Blackhawks<\/strong><\/p>\n The newly acquired Storm forward was originally selected in the first round (2nd\u00a0overall) by the IceDogs in the 2023 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. In three seasons in the OHL, the 6-foot-4, 215 lbs forward has recorded 99 goals and 97 assists for 196 points in 176 regular season games. Roobroeck has added another 6 points (3 goals and 3 assists) in 5 career OHL playoff games. Roobroeck\u2019s 99 career OHL goals leads all 2007-born players over the last three seasons.<\/p>\n Vlad Dravecky \u2013 New York Islanders<\/strong><\/p>\n Dravecky, a Czechia native, was originally selected in the first round, 50th<\/sup> overall, by the Bulldogs in the 2025 CHL Import Draft. In his first season in North America, the right-shot blueliner notched 9 goals and 19 assists for 28 points and was plus-24 in 58 regular-season games. The 6-foot, 190 lbs defender added 3 points in 11 playoff games, helping Brantford to an Eastern Conference final appearance. Dravecky represented Czechia at the 2026 U20 World Junior Championships, where he won a silver medal. He was selected 141st overall by the New York Islanders in the 2026 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n Rylan Singh \u2013 Seattle Kraken<\/strong><\/p>\n Singh, a Pickering, ONT., native, was originally selected in the third round, 43rd overall by the Storm in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. In three seasons with the Storm, the right-shot blueliner has notched 8 goals and 55 assists for 63 points through 159 career games. He was selected 198th overall by the Seattle Kraken in the 2026 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n Zach Jovanovski \u2013 Carolina Hurricanes<\/strong><\/p>\n Jovanovski, a Tecumseth, ONT., native, was originally selected in the seventh round, 134th overall by the Storm in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. In two seasons with the Storm, the veteran netminder has appeared in 71 games, posting a 3.44 goals against average and a 0.889 save percentage. He was selected 165th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2026 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n Carter Stevens \u2013 St. Louis Blues<\/strong><\/p>\n Stevens, an Almonte, ONT., native, was originally selected in the second round 35th overall by the Storm in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. In two seasons with the Storm, the right winger has notched 33 goals and 29 assists for 61 points through 119 career games. He was selected 150th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2026 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n Owen Griffin \u2013 Columbus Blue Jackets<\/strong><\/p>\n Griffin, a Markham, ONT., native, was originally selected in the first round, 6th overall by the Oshawa Generals in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. In three seasons with the Generals, the veteran forward has appeared in 189 career regular-season games, registering 48 goals and 76 assists for 124 points. He added another 34 points, including 17 goals, through 42 playoff games. He was selected 160th overall in the 2025 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n Rowan Topp \u2013 Columbus Blue Jackets<\/strong><\/p>\n Topp, a St. Anns, ONT., native was originally selected in the third round, 59th overall by the Guelph Storm in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. In four seasons with the Storm, the veteran blueliner has appeared in 184 career games, putting up 24 points. He is attending the Blue Jackets development camp as a free agent.<\/p>\n Ethan Czata \u2013 Tampa Bay Lightning<\/strong><\/p>\n Ethan was recently acquired by the Storm in a trade with the IceDogs.The former IceDogs captain was originally selected in the first round, 5th overall in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. In three seasons, he has appeared in games, notching 53 goals and 72 assists for 125 points. He was selected 56th overall by Tampa Bay in the 2025 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n Grant Spada \u2013 Tampa Bay Lightning<\/strong><\/p>\n The Fort Erie, ONT., native was originally selected by the Storm 194th overall in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. The blueliner has suited up for the Storm for three seasons, appearing in 126 games, posting 27 points, and 160 penalty minutes. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2025 NHL Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning.<\/p>\n Tyler Hopkins \u2013 Toronto Maple Leafs<\/strong><\/p>\n The Campbellville, ONT., native was originally selected 4th overall by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. He was acquired by the Storm in December 2025. Through three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, Hopkins has appeared in 182 games refistering 51 goals and 63 assists for 114 points.
