Volunteers at the heart of the 2027 Memorial Cup
The Memorial Cup brings together the champions of the WHL, OHL, and QMJHL, along with the host team, to compete for national supremacy. The event also serves as a tribute to Canada’s fallen soldiers, making it a tournament rich in tradition, meaning, and community impact.
Each year, hundreds of volunteers power the Memorial Cup — welcoming teams and fans, supporting game operations, and bringing the host community’s championship experience to life. Since 2022, nearly 2,000 volunteers in Saint John (N.B.), Kamloops (B.C.), Saginaw (Mich.), and Rimouski (Que.) have helped bring the tournament to life in their communities. With preparations underway, the Host Organizing Committee, the Guelph Storm, and the CHL are once again calling on the community to fuel the event experience. The Guelph Storm wants YOU to be part of the 2027 Memorial Cup. Click here to sign up and learn more about the volunteer opportunities.
