The Storm fall 5-4 in overtime to the Ottawa 67’s.
The Storm and the 67’s skated through a scoreless first period to start the game. Mews got the 67’s on the board with a marker on the man advantage, and Barlas quickly added to their tally midway through the second period. Hunter McKenzie opened the Storm scoring with a one-timer assisted by Leo Serlin. The second period would feature two more 67’s goals. Carter Stevens notched his second of the season in front of his hometown Ottawa crowd before Max Namestnikov brought the Storm within one late in the third period. Jake Karabela tied the game with 3.2 remaining on the clock off a shot from Singh. The teams exchanged penalties in overtime with the Ottawa 67’s picking up the two points.
