GUELPH STORM HOCKEY MOM OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER, PLAY OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT  INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.

ELIGIBLITY: The Guelph Storm Hockey Mom contest (the “Contest”) is open to all mothers who are twenty-one (21) years of age, or older, as of the date of the submission.

CONTEST PERIOD: Contest will run each month from October 2022- April 2023. One winner will be chosen per month.

HOW TO ENTER: In order to nominate someone as the Guelph Storm Hockey Mom Entrant must be 13 years of age or older (as of the date of the submission), Limit one entry per person and/or email address. Incomplete entries are ineligible.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Entries must be submitted prior to the 12^th of each month to be eligible for the prize pack. Entrant must have the written permission of any third party who appears in the photograph to use the photograph for any purpose, including commercial purposes. Please be advised if Entrant’s or Mom’s age/birthdate do not meet the contest requirements, Entrant’s entry will be disqualified.

JUDGING: Contest Entities will select the winners, in their sole discretion, based on the description of how Mom is dedicated to his/her hockey playing children and the sacrifices that Mom makes so his/her child can play hockey (with each factor being weighed equally).

WINNERS: A total of six (6) winners will be chosen during the Contest Period.

PUBLICITY: By entering into the Contest and in consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Contest, Entrant represents, warrants, consents and agrees: (i) that he or she shall grant and hereby grants to the Contest Entities the right, without additional financial or other compensation, to use, publish, reproduce, copyright, broadcast, exhibit, license and otherwise exploit any and all text, video, film, photograph, image or other content (whether submitted by Entrant or made by the Contest Entities in connection with the Contest), Entrant’s or Mom’s name, likeness, image, biographical material, portrait, recorded video image and voice, and any material derived from any of the aforementioned (hereafter collectively the “Released Material”), to advertise, market or promote the Contest Entities and their affiliated entities, its advertisers and sponsors, and for any other purpose, by any and all means including, without limitation, in–arena entertainment, television or radio broadcast, printed materials, internet distribution, and any other means now existing or hereafter developed (hereafter collectively referred to as an “Exploitation”); (ii) that he or she shall have no right of inspection or approval over any Released Material or any Exploitation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation or right of publicity) arising out of or in connection with any such Released Material or Exploitation, and hereby waives any such rights and claims to such rights; (iii) that he or she will release, hold harmless, and indemnify, and hereby releases, holds harmless and indemnifies the Contest Entities and their respective advertisers, sponsors and affiliated entities and persons, and their respective agents and employees, from and against any and all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of, related to, or in connection with the Contest, the Released Material (excluding Released Material already owned by the Contest Entities) and any Exploitation including, without limitation, any claim relating to distortion or manipulation, whether intentional or otherwise, of such Released Material, and any claim that such Released Material infringes the intellectual property, proprietary or other rights of a third party.

GENERAL RULES: By entering this Contest, Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules (including but not limited to Entrant’s consent to receive e-mail message from the Contest Entities), the terms and conditions of the Contest Entities’ websites, and by the decision of Contest Entities, which are final and binding in all respects.
