Storm select Timothy Kazda 4th overall in the 2026 CHL Import Draft
The 6’2 195lbs Ilava, Slovakia native spent the 2025/2026 season with the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League. Through 59 games, Kazda registered 22 goals and 19 assists for 41 points.
Prior to his time in Chicago, Kazda attended Seacoast Performance Academy, a residential academic and athletic training facility based in Exeter, New Hampshire. Playing his U14, U15, and U16 years with Seacoast, he appeared in 146 career games, registering 136 goals and 92 assists for 228 points.
Off the ice, Timothy has maintained a strong academic standing and was named to the USHL All-Academic Team this past spring.
The Slovakia native represented his nation at the 2026 U18 Men’s World Championship, where he was named MVP of the tournament after recording 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists) through 7 games. He scored the game-winning goal with a penalty shot against Team Canada in the tournament opener.
