Storm acquire Brody Crane from the IceDogs
GUELPH – General Manager George Burnett announced today that the Guelph Storm have acquired forward Brody Crane from the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for a 6th-round pick (Guelph) in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection.
“We have seen a lot of Brody during his time with London in the Western Conference,” said George Burnett. “He is a strong skater with good skill and has valuable playoff experience to help our group moving forward.”
The 2004-born left winger from Union, Ontario was originally selected by the London Knights in the fourth round, 62nd overall in the 2020 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. In three seasons in the OHL, split between the Knights and the IceDogs, the 5-foot-11, 185lbs forward has recorded 66 points (24 goals, 42 assists) and 50 PIMs in 147 regular season games. Crane has also suited up for 25 OHL playoff games and helped the Knights reach the OHL Championship Series in 2023.

Prior to his OHL career, Crane was a product of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres AAA program.
