Through one game the Storms penalty kill sits at 100%, killing off both penalties from Thursday nights game. They’ll be looking to continue this special team play as they look to get a win in the Soo before heading back home to Guelph.
The Greyhounds up 1-0 in the series will be confident in front of their home crowd tonight. After defeating the Storm 3-0 the Soo still have work to do, the regular season power play leaders were unable to register a power play goal against the Storm on their 2 power plays Thursday night. Players to Watch:
Guelph Storm- Brayden Guy
One of the few Storm players who have played in OHL Playoffs before will be a huge piece to this teams post season success. The Storm captain has been a big goal scorer for the team at times and tonight will be no different. As Guelph look to even the series at 1, watch out for Guy as he brings his experience to this young Storm team.
Soo Greyhounds – Tye Kartye
Kartye has already played a huge role for the Greyhounds this postseason. After scoring 2 of the 3 goals in game 1 he is a player to watch. Leading the team in goals in the regular season makes him a player to look out for in these coming games. He will need to be scoring for this Greyhounds team to find success in the playoffs.
