Over 2,500 Teddy Bears collected on Saturday
On Saturday, December 17, Brent Johnson of Wayne Pitman Ford Lincoln and the Guelph Storm hosted their annual Teddy Bear Toss Game!
This year’s teddy bear goal was scored by forward Max Namestnikov in the opening minutes of the first period. Namestnikov’s goal brought on a storm of over 2,500 stuffed animals onto the ice!
These plush toys were distributed to local charities and organizations including:
- Norfolk Manor
- Wyndham Hill Corp.
- Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition
- Immigrant Services Guelph
- North Wellington Health Care
- Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington
- EMS Guelph and Wellington County
- Shelldale Family Gateway
- Family and Children Services
- Salvation Army
- Elora House
