Friday, March 7th SAR @ GUE
On Friday, March 7th, I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Guelph Storm game as they took on the Sarnia Sting. The pre-game ride on the babyboni, and a tour of the media rooms were a fun part of the night, but the best part was interviewing my favourite player, Jake Karabela. The Sting defeated the Storm 5-1, but that didn’t stop the Storm fans from cheering their hardest and having a good time. Jake took time after the game (on his birthday!) to answer some of my questions.
“How many years did you play A, AA or AAA?”
“Oh, that’s a good question. AA for one year, and AAA for 11.”
“What is your pre-game meal?”
“My pre-game meal is penne pasta, with Alfredo and chicken”
“What NHL team would you like to play for?”
“I would play on any team in the NHL. Wouldn’t matter where.”
