Game Preview: Guelph Storm vs Kitchener Rangers
The Storm are back at home for the second last game of the season as the Kitchener Rangers face off with Guelph one last time this season. The puck drops at 7:30pm.
The Storm come into tonight’s game off a big win in Erie earlier in the week. Winning 4-1 in Erie puts Guelph in a 2-game winning streak and 2 points ahead of the Owen Sound Attack who are in 6th. With a current record of 34-24-5-3 Guelph remains in the 5th overall spot and would clinch the 5th overall spot with a point tonight.
The Rangers are currently coming off a tough 4-3 loss to the London Knights but are 3-2 in their last 5 games. With an overall record of 30-31-3-2 the Rangers have clinched the 7th spot in the conference standings and will play London in the first round of the playoffs. They’ll be looking to end the season off right with a couple wins which makes tonight’s game a must watch.
