Dawson Morris commits to Storm
Guelph, ON – Guelph Storm General Manager George Burnett announced today that the Storm’s 2024 seventh-round selection Dawson Morris has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the hockey club.
The 6’0, 180 lbs defenseman from Sudbury, Ontario was selected by the Storm 131st overall in this year’s OHL Priority Selection.
“Dawson continued to impress from our Orientation Camp in April through training camp,” said George Burnett. Dawson is a puck-moving defenseman who skates well and competes hard every night. We are pleased to welcome Dawson and his family to our program.”
The 2008-born blueline had an excellent season with the Sudbury Jr. Wolves U16 AAA squad where he notched 7 goals, and 15 assists, for 22 points in 33 games. Morris added another two assists in 8 playoff games for the Jr. Wolves this spring.
