Tenute named Molson OHL Player of the Month

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the OHL Performers of the Month for February, 2003. Each of the OHL Performers of the Month will receive a watch courtesy of Tissot Canada during a pre-game presentation.
Molson OHL Player of the Month – Joey Tenute, Sarnia Sting

Tenute scored 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points in 10 games last month, helping the Sting to a 7-2-1 record. He started the month with a hat trick in a 7-3 win over the Saginaw Spirit on February 2 and recorded seven multiple point games, including six points (two goals, four assists) in a 9-2 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on February 27.

The 19-year-old Hamilton native was named OHL Player of the Week on February 2nd and 16th and improved his season totals to a team-high 35 goals, 61 assists and 96 points in 61 games.
