Sting Set to Welcome Fans Back to the Hive
Sarnia, Ontario. For the first time in 18 months the Sarnia Sting will welcome fans back to Progressive Auto Sales Arena as the Ironworks Fitness Black & White game in support of the United Way concludes Training Camp and kicks off the pre-season schedule.
In accordance with all provincial guidelines and health and safety protocols, one thousand (1000) spectators will be permitted inside Progressive Auto Sales Arena for the Ironworks Fitness Black & White Game as well as the three home pre-season games.
Fans can get their first live look at returning players and prospects Thursday, September 2nd at 6pm est. as Training Camp wraps up with the annual Black & White game in support of the United Way Sarnia-Lambton.
1000 tickets will be available for $5.00 plus hst and can be purchased online here.
United Way Sarnia-Lambton volunteers will be on site collecting donations as well as offering 50/50 and raffle ticket opportunities as they work towards their goal of raising $1.75 million. The Sarnia Sting place the safety of everyone involved at the forefront and will be implementing and following a diligent COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocol ensuring the safest environment possible when enjoying games. Among other safety measures all patrons within the facility, including employees, volunteers and fans will be required to wear a mask as well as complete and present results of the Province of Ontario’s COVID 19 screening questions before entering the facility for all Sarnia Sting home games.
Fans are encouraged to review the Health & Safety Protocol and complete the necessary requirements before coming to the game.
2021 Pre-Season Games
In accordance with all provincial guidelines and health and safety protocols one thousand (1000) spectators will be allowed inside Progressive Auto Sales Arena for the three (3) Sting home pre-season games.
Due to the restricted capacity numbers for pre-season games, only those tickets of Sarnia Sting season ticket holders that renewed their tickets on or before September 1, 2021 will be valid to enter the facility for pre-season games. Sarnia Sting suite level & platinum club ticket holders will be contacted directly regarding their pre-season opportunities.
The Sarnia Sting are currently working with the Ontario Hockey League and Provincial Government in regards to capacity for the 2021 Sarnia Sting regular season beginning October 8th and will relay all relevant information to ticket holders when it becomes available.
The Sarnia Sting understand this may be frustrating for some but ask for your continued patience and understanding as we follow all protocols in ensuring the safety of everyone within the facility.
