Sting Set to Continue 2022 Season of Giving ahead of Christmas Break
To celebrate the holidays, the Sarnia Sting dub December home games as the “Season of Giving”, giving the Hockey Club and its loyal fans the opportunity to give to those who need it most at this special time of year.
Sting General Manager Dylan Seca comments: “It’s an absolute privilege to be able to use our platform to help give back to those who may need a little help at this time of year. It is our duty to give back to this community that continues to support us and on behalf of the entire Sting organization I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to these initiatives.”

25th Annual Sarnia Sting Teddy Bear Toss presented by Finch Ford Lincoln
On Sunday, December 4th the Sting, along with over 3500 fans, celebrated the hockey club’s 25th Annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by Finch Ford Lincoln.
After Sasha Pastujov buried the Sting’s first goal of the evening with 2:27 remaining in the second period, gracious fans in attendance made 4200 bears rain down onto the ice. The toys were then gathered at the rink and transported to Finch Ford Lincoln where they are now on display until they make their way to their new homes in time for Christmas. This year’s contribution brings the event’s total collection to over 79,200 stuffed toys distributed to those who need it most in our community.
