Sting Set for “Season of Giving” through December Games
Christmas is a time for giving and each season the Sarnia Sting have dubbed December home games as the “Season of Giving.” An opportunity, with the support of the loyal fans the Sarnia Sting can give to those who need it most at this special time of year.
Sting General Manager Dylan Seca comments: “It’s an absolute privilege to be able to use our platform to help give back to those who may need a little help at this time of year. It is our duty to give back to this community that continues to support us and on behalf of the entire Sting organization I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to these initiatives. “

Maple Mutual Insurance presents Sarnia Sting Annual Toy Drive.

Sting ownership Derian Hatcher, David Legwand along with Sam Bitten and Ryan McGregor personally delivered the toys to the Salvation Army.
In partnership with Maple Mutual Insurance the Sarnia Sting are pleased to kick off the holiday season with the annual Toy Drive. Fans, staff, volunteers and players are encouraged to bring a new packaged toy to the December 3rd game and drop them in the donation bins upon entry
The toys will then be collected and personally delivered by members of the Sarnia Sting to local charities in the Sarnia-Lambton Area. in 2019 we were able to collect 553 toys to be given to kids who need them most.

A date circled on the calendar each year the 24th annual Sarnia Sting Teddy bear Toss Presented by Lambton Ford officially returns.
As tradition has it, when the Sarnia Sting score their first goal, the gracious fans respond by tossing their stuffed toys onto the ice. The toys are gathered from the ice and then transported to Lambton Ford to go on display until the stuffed toy makes its’ way to its’ new home. Over the past 24 years the Sarnia Sting and Lambton Ford have helped to collect over 70,250 stuffed toys, distributed to those who need it most in our community.

Mainstreet Credit Union presents Christmas at the Hive in support of the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
Christmas at the Hive presented by Mainstreet Credit Union wraps up the last game before the holiday break. Sting fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the game to be donated to our local Inn of the Good Shepherd. The Sting will also don Christmas themed jerseys for the game. Select jerseys will be auctioned off live on ice following the game, with the remainder available to bid on online. The game will also include a certain special “jolly” guest. Fans can get their photo with this guest on the concourse.
