Sting Complete Trade With Kitchener Rangers
Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced this morning that the Hockey Club has acquired a 5th and 8th round pick in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection from the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for Carson Campbell.
Campbell, a native of Campbelford, ON, was previously selected in the 3rd round of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. The 17-year-old recorded 23 games with the hockey club during the 2022-2023 season.
On Campbell’s contributions to the Sting, Seca comments:
“This trade gives Carson the opportunity he deserves. We’ve seen some progression from some other defencemen within our group and believe this is best for Carson’s development. We wish Carson all the best in Kitchener.”
