Sting Acquire Picks from Spirit in Exchange for Overage Forward Theo Hill
Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced this morning that the Hockey Club has completed a trade with the Saginaw Spirit ahead of the 2022-23 regular season. The Sting have acquired Saginaw’s 11th round 2024 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection in addition to London’s 2025 4th round pick and Saginaw’s 2026 4th round pick in exchange for 20-year-old forward Theo Hill.
The Hagersville, Ontario native played in 180 regular season games with the Sting over three seasons during which he tallied 35 goals and 47 assists for a total of 82 points. During the 2021-22 campaign, Hill collected 21 goals and 53 of those points over 67 games played.
On Hill’s contributions to the Sting, Seca comments:

The Sarnia Sting are set to close out the 2022-23 preseason tomorrow night with a matchup against the Windsor Spitfires and look forward to the Hockey Club’s 2022 Home Opener on October 7th when the team will faceoff against the Saginaw Spirit at 7:05pm.
