OLIMB LEADS NORWAY TO JUNIOR VICTORY
Sheffield, GB Sarnia Sting forward Mathis Olimb has led his native-Norway to a tournament win at the IIHF World Under 20 B Flight tournament in Sheffield, Great Britain.
Norway finished the tournament a perfect 5-0-0 and will now advance next season into the A flight of the Under-20 championships to be held in Vancouver.
Olimb who is still just 18 will be eligible to take part in next seasons World Junior Championships and is sure to be one of Norway’s top players once again.
Olimb finished the tournament with 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points in just 5 games.
The Sting will have Olimb in the lineup when it resumes play December 30th in Plymouth.
