Munce Backstops Canadian U-18’s To Gold Medal Game

Sting goaltender Ryan Munce made 33 saves to lead Canada to a 2-1 overtime victory over Team USA in the semi-final at the World Under 18 Championships in Russia.
Sting forward Daniel Carcillo also factored into the win assisting on Alexandre Bouldoc’s game winner 3:45 into the first over time period.
Canada now faces Slovakia on Tuesday in the Gold Medal game after Slovakia upset tournament favourite 2-1 in overtime Sunday as well.
