Kevin Allen of Sarnia won in the adult category. A professional chef, Kevin and his wife Jan ensured that local seniors and those most vulnerable in our community would not go hungry. To meet this significant need, Sarnia Blessings was created. This is an outreach program where hundreds of meals are made and delivered every week at no charge to those in need. Kevin does the shopping and cooking while Jan organizes the meal recipients and schedules the volunteer drivers. Local businesses, churches and other groups have generously helped Sarnia Blessings with funding and deliveries. To date, over 22,000 meals have been delivered across Sarnia-Lambton.
