Hive increased to 50% Capacity Beginning Friday Night

Sarnia, ON. –  During an impromptu news conference at Queens Park Monday morning, Ontario Premier, Doug Ford Announced that the province will be moving into the next step of it’s COVID 19 reopening plan on Thursday, four days ahead of schedule.

As of February 17, 2022, seating capacity at sport and concert venues, as well as movie theatres, will be 50 percent.

With this positive announcement, the Sarnia Sting are excited to welcome all season ticket holders back to the Hive beginning Friday, February 18, 2022, when the Kitchener Rangers visit the Progressive Auto Sales Arena for a 7pm puck drop. There are also a limited number of individual game tickets available for this game as well as all other remaining 2022 regular season home games.

The province also announced that they expect to lift all capacity limits effective March 1,^, 2022 if public health and health system indicators continue to improve.

Individual game ticket holders as well as Season Ticket Holders who had tickets to previously played games that were not eligible to attend due to capacity restrictions will have a credit on their account for the value equal to those tickets. Fans can use that value to attend any remaining 2022 regular season home contest subject to availability.
