Sting Complete Trade with Sudbury Wolves
Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced this morning that the Hockey Club has acquired goaltender Andrew Gaulton from the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for goaltender Karsen Chartier.
Standing at 6’3, 181 lbs, Gaulton was selected by the Wolves in the 2nd round of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection.
The Bowmanville-native spent the 2023-24 season with the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Espanola Paper Kings where he held a .916 SV% through 28 games played.
On the trade of Chartier, Seca shares,
“This trade gives Karsen a chance to earn some time with his hometown team in SUD. Andrew Gaulton remains with Niagara Falls in the OJHL and will be an affiliate player for us for the remainder of the year. He’s a 2nd round pick and someone we like in his draft. We believe there is still some upside left in his game.”
