Sarnia Sting Announce Additions Across Hockey Operations Department
The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club is pleased to announce a series of additions across its Hockey Operations department, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to providing a premier development environment both on and off the ice.
The Sting are pleased to announce that Katie Colameco will continue with the organization as Billet Co-Ordinator, taking on an expanded role focused on enhancing the player experience through the club’s billet program.
“Katie joined the organization last season, and her role is now extended to fully support the player experience with respect to billet families,” said General Manager Dylan Seca. “Katie will also share her passion and knowledge for mental health, providing extended support to our players, families, and billet families.”
The Sting are excited to welcome back alumnus Jordan Hill to the coaching staff as a Player Development and Performance Consultant. Hill will work alongside existing development coach and Vegas Golden Knights Skills Coach Scott Jones to deliver year-round player development and skill planning. A respected NHL skills coach, Hill brings extensive experience working with professional and elite-level players as a performance consultant.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan back to the organization,” said Seca. “Jordan’s experience working with NHL and elite-level players, combined with his passion for player development, will be an incredible asset to our players and coaching staff. Alongside Scott Jones, he will help provide year-round support, planning, and development opportunities that will benefit our entire organization.”
The Sting have named Joe Raaymakers as Assistant Goalie Coach. A local coach with Future Pro Goalie Academy and an educator, Raaymakers will work closely with Goaltending Coach Rob Beatty to continue advancing the club’s goaltending program.
“Joe is a young and dedicated local goalie coach who combines his expertise with Future Pro Goalie Academy and his background as an educator,” said Seca. “We believe the tandem of Rob Beatty and Joe will make our goalie development program one of the best in the league.”
Jason Brooks has been promoted to a Special Advisor, expanding his responsibilities within Hockey Operations and the club’s scouting department. In his new role, Brooks will support all hockey operations initiatives while continuing to play a key role in player evaluation and recruitment.

Ty joins the organization as an Assistant Equipment Manager after spending portions of last season supporting the team. A Sports Management student at Lambton College, Ty brings valuable experience from his previous roles as Head Equipment Manager for the Sarnia Legionnaires and as a volunteer with the London Nationals of the GOHL.
“We’re excited to officially welcome Ty to the organization,” said Seca. “He has already proven to be a dedicated and dependable member of our team, and his experience at multiple levels of junior hockey has prepared him well for this role. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue to grow and contribute to our organization.”
Rob Deschamps returns to the Sting in a formal scouting capacity as the club’s SCTA/OMHA Scout. A former OHL player and experienced coach, Deschamps brings extensive knowledge of the region and its players.
“Rob will return in a formal capacity as the SCTA/OMHA scout for the hockey club,” said Seca. “As a coach and former OHL player, his attention to detail and knowledge of the players in his area will be very important.”
Andrew Romano joins the Sting scouting staff as the club’s New York State Scout. Romano will oversee player identification throughout New York while assisting Chicago-based scout Matt Grainda with player recruitment and evaluation across the United States.
“Andrew will look after New York State and assist Chicago-based scout Matt Grainda with player recruitment and evaluation at all levels,” said Seca. “As a coach and lead recruiter for the prestigious BK Selects program, Andrew will bring his wealth of player information to the Sting.”
The Sting are pleased to announce Jack Bernardo and Michael Renaud as Co-Directors of Analytics. The appointments follow the departure of longtime Director of Analytics Dave MacPherson, who has accepted a position with the NHL’s New York Rangers.
“The hockey club is thrilled to announce that longtime Director of Analytics Dave MacPherson has accepted a role with the New York Rangers,” said Seca. “As we continue to grow our analytics department, Jack Bernardo and Michael Renaud will bring valuable experience in team-based analytics and Sports Administration. Their knowledge and expertise will play an important role in supporting both team performance initiatives and player development projects.”
The Sting continues to strengthen their player performance department with the addition of Olivia McAllister as Team Dietitian. Currently leading athletic dietitian initiatives at Western University, McAllister will focus on supporting player nutrition and maximizing performance through evidence-based nutritional programming.
“Olivia is a current leader for athletic dietitian projects at Western University,” said Seca. “Her focus will be on the player experience as it pertains to nutrition and its relationship to player performance. The hockey club remains committed to providing a premier experience to our players, and Olivia will be an excellent complement to our performance team.”
These additions and promotions reflect the Sarnia Sting’s continued investment in player development, performance, and organizational excellence as the club prepares for the 2026-27 Ontario Hockey League season.
