Kitchener Rangers at Sarnia Sting Game Preview – March 4

The Sting are back at home tonight as they continue a busy week of games. Tonight, the Sting will faceoff against the Kitchener Rangers. Puck drop is set for 7:05 PM at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
The Sting will look to put Sunday’s loss behind them as they head into tonight’s game. The Rangers have proven to be a tough team this season, and a physical game can be expected tonight.
Kaden Aucoin has emerged as a gritty player as the season has developed, and will be a key piece in the matchup. The young defenceman has grown into his confidence on the ice, he said. “Being around the guys helps a lot with confidence. The older guys especially”.
When reflecting on his rookie season so far, he said, “I think my progression has been solid. Getting in the lineup is all I can ask for as a rookie”. Aucoin is at six points on the season and is a diverse defenceman.
For tonight and each game going forward, Aucoin says the team needs to focus on “competing for a full 60. All points are necessary in this final stretch.” The Sting will play tonight, Friday and Saturday, so staying healthy and rested between games is crucial.
