The Sarnia Sting in partnership with the YMCA Sarnia Lambton are proud to help make Sting hockey an affordable family affair. For select Sting home games, tickets for children (12 & under) are discounted up to 60% off depending on seat locations. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All games in the YMCA Kids Series are specially marked when browsing all available Sting home games. |

Halloween at the Hive- Sunday, October 26th vs. London Knights
Tickets for kids 12 & under are just $10 +hst. Dress up in your Halloween best and trick or treat with Buzz and Honey in our intermission costume parade. Halloween music will be played throughout the game while prizes will also be awarded for the best costumes! |

School Day Game presented by Progressive Auto Sales- Wednesday, November 5th vs Owen Sound Attack The Sarnia Sting, in partnership with Progressive Auto Group, are pleased to announce the third annual School Day Game set for Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 when the Sting take on the Owen Sound Attack at 10:30am. Elementary school children in grades 3-6 from local school boards will flood Progressive Auto Sales Arena for this special community focused game. The School Day Game is an opportunity for children in the Sarnia-Lambton area to come together in community spirit to support their hometown team in a unique experiential learning environment. The game day will include special learning opportunities integrated leading up to the game, throughout the in-game experience and in the classroom following the game. These integrations place a focus on: healthy-active living, basic math and statistics, geography as well as the importance of mental health. The Sarnia Sting, in partnership with Finch Ford Lincoln, bring you the Annual Teddy Bear Toss. Sunday, November 30th vs. Flint Firebirds. Fans are encouraged to bring a new plush toy to the game. When the Sting score their first goal, throw your plush toy to the ice in celebration. All toys will be collected and distributed through local charities to kids who need it most at Christmas. Since inception the Teddy Bear Toss has helped collect over 80,000 plush toys for children in our communities. |

The Sarnia Sting in partnership with Mainstreet Credit Union are proud to bring Christmas to the Hive in support of the Inn of the Good Shepherd. The entire game day will feature a Christmas theme with the Sting donning Christmas themed jerseys on ice. Select jerseys will be auctioned off live on ice following the game with the remaining going online for bidding. All proceeds from the day benefit the Inn of the Good Shepherd Sarnia-Lambton and their support of those who need a helping hand in our community. Our jolly friend Santa Clause will be here to celebrate with us and fans are encouraged only if they are able to bring a non-perishable food item to be collected at the door. |

The Sarnia Sting in partnership with Maple Mutual Insurance will wrap up our season of giving with the annual Toy Drive. Fans are asked, only if they are able, to bring a new unopened toy to the game and place it under one of the Christmas trees located around the concourse. The toys will be collected and distributed to children throughout our community through local charities. |

The Sarnia Sting are proud to welcome teams from across Canada and the United States to Sarnia-Lambton participating in the International Girls Silver Stick Finals. The game will consist of a pre-game opening ceremony that will invite representatives from each team on ice to help celebrate the sport and our local community, officially kicking off the tournament. |

Things will get rowdy Friday night at the Hive as the Sarnia Sting in partnership with our local Lambton Dairy Producers are proud to host Country Night on Friday, January 9th against the Erie Otters. The entire game will be country music themed. Fans are encouraged to dress in their “country” best with the first 1,500 fans in attendance receiving a custom Sting cowboy hat! |

The ultimate community collaboration! The Sarnia Sting team up with Lambton College once again for Lions Night at the Hive. This evening will celebrate all things Lambton College throughout the game while the Sting dawn specailty Lions x Sting jerseys on the Ice. Lambton Lions “Sting” jerseys will be auctioned off online following the game with all proceeds benefitting the Lambton College Foundation.

The Sarnia Sting are proud to present the Battle of the Badges on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Progressive Auto Sales Arena. Before the Sting take on the Peterborough Petes at 7:05 PM, the Sarnia Fire and Sarnia Police will face off in a special pre-game matchup at 4PM showcasing the dedication and teamwork of our local heroes. Come early, show your support for Sarnia’s first responders, and stick around for an exciting night of OHL hockey as the Sting battle the Petes!

Get creative! Have you ever dreamed of designing your very own hockey jersey? Your dream could come to life with the Sarnia Sting and the Real Canadian Superstore Design-A-Jersey contest. Fans are encouraged to submit their custom designs for your chance to be selected. The winning design will be worn Wednesday, February 4th when the Sting host the Flint Firebirds. Memories are made at the rink, spend Family Day with your Sting family presented by Imperial Sarnia Site. Bring your skates and helmet to skate with the Sting following the game. Please leave all equipment in your vehicle and retrieve it following the game. All fans will be regranted entrance to the building and encouraged to get their equipment on in the lower lobby of Progressive Auto Sales Arena. |

Select individuals who have played a positive and impactful role in helping build and shape the Sting into a successful major junior OHL franchise in the Sarnia-Lambton area, will participate in a pre-game press conference and on ice ceremony as we recognize their contributions in the annual induction ceremony. |

The game will include a pre-game ceremony in which the Club pays tribute to the players who have shown dedication and commitment to the Sarnia Sting and community both on and off the ice. |
