making their first stop in North Bay to take on the Battalion. After an impressive home win against Sudbury, the Trout hit the ice eager to keep the momentum going.

The game started quickly, with the Battalion scoring their first goal at the four-minute mark following three shot attempts.

Brampton struggled on defence as North Bay continued to outshoot them, leading to a second goal at 10:26.

The Battalion registered several more shots throughout the first period, but the Steelheads found their defensive rhythm and prevented the score from increasing for the remainder of the frame.

Period one ended 2–0 in favour of the Battalion, who recorded 14 shots compared to Brampton’s six.

The second period saw three more goals from the Battalion, ending the frame with a 5–0 lead for North Bay.

The third period brought two more goals for the Battalion, ending the game with a final score of 7-0.

The Brampton Steelheads are back on the ice tomorrow to face the Sudbury Wolves after a 3-6 win with rookies Peter Green and Matej Stankoven put up a career-record high of three points each. The Trout will then return home to the CAA Centre on Sunday, March 22, where they will face the Brantford Bulldogs in their final home game of the season.

Click the link below to get your tickets now!

https://www.ticketmaster.ca/brampton-steelheads-vs-brantford-bulldogs-brampton-ontario-03-22-2026/event/1000631AC6222C70

Three Stars of the Game:

Mike Mcivor (23SH, 0GA)

Ryder Cali (2G)

CamWarren (1G, 1A)

Shots on Goal:

BRAM 23 / NB 50

NORTH BAY, ON – The Brampton Steelheads faced the North Bay Battalion for the final time this season. The Steelheads are back on the road for their last two away games of the season, making their first stop in North Bay to take on the Battalion.
