The Brampton Steelheads have signed forward Aidan Lane to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement
BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Steelheads announce that forward Aidan Lane has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club.
Originally selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the fourth round (#80 overall) of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, Lane has been playing for St. Andrew’s College in the Prep Hockey Conference (PHC) during the 2024-25 season. The 6’2’’, 192 lb forward has tallied 11 points (4G, 7A) in just seven games with the PHC club, while also recording an impressive 41 points (14G, 27A) in 21 games with St. Andrew’s College U18 AAA program.
Lane, who serves as captain for St. Andrew’s College, has also announced his commitment to pursue academics and hockey at Harvard University. The 17-year-old received a W rating in the 24-25 NHL Central Scouting preliminary players to watch list.
