THE STEELHEADS SIGN DEFENSEMAN JARED HARDING, ALEXANDER STEPHEN, AND GRAEME MACAULEY
The Brampton Steelheads have signed three AP’s including defensemen Jared Harding, Alex Stephen, and Graeme MacAuley to OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements
BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Steelheads announced on Friday that three defenseman, Jared Harding, Alex Stephen, and Graeme MacCauley have signed OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with the club.
Originally drafted by the Mississauga Steelheads in the seventh round (#128 overall) of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, Jared Harding has skated in 5 games for the Steelheads this season. The 5’10’’ smooth-skating defenseman has yet to record his first OHL point, however recorded 8 points (3G, 5A) in 22 games with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the OJHL this season.
Originally drafted by the North Bay Battalion in the tenth round (#182 overall) of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, Alex Stephen has yet to make his OHL debut. The 6’3’’ defenseman has skated in 27 games this season for the Burlington Cougars of the OJHL, totaling 32 points (6G, 26A).
Originally drafted by the Barrie Colts in the first round (#10 overall) of the 2022 OHL U18 Priority Selection, Graeme MacAuley has yet to make his OHL debut. The 6’0’’ defenseman has skated in 24 games this season for the Milton Menace of the OJHL, totaling 18 points (4G, 14A) whilst also serving as the team’s captain.
